The complete STOER Collection in one place

At STOER Bikes' booth, you'll find three models, each with its own strengths. The UrbanX is our award-winning electric fatbike, voted Best Fatbike 2024 by the AD Bicycle Test. The CityX offers a low step-through, making it ideal for those who want to get on and off easily. The CargoX is our electric cargo bike, winner of the German Design Award 2025. All three models are equipped with the Gates CDX belt drive, a Bafang motor with automatic gears and extensive security options.

One of the things that sets STOER Bikes apart from other brands is the belt drive. Where most bikes have a traditional chain, we use the Gates CDX Carbon Belt Drive. This system offers several advantages that you notice every day while cycling.

First, a belt drive is virtually maintenance-free. You don't have to lubricate, the belt doesn't rust and it doesn't stretch. That saves time and money in the long run. Second, the system is much quieter than a chain. You only hear the sound of the wind and your own breathing. Third, a Gates CDX belt lasts three to five times longer than a traditional chain. With normal use, you won't have to think about replacement for years. Finally, your hands and clothes stay clean because there is no chain grease involved.

“The belt drive was a conscious choice for us from the beginning,” says Thomas, co-founder of STOER Bikes. “We wanted to make a bike that not only looks good, but also rides carefree. With the Gates CDX belt, we combine reliability with a sleek design.”

Bicycle theft is a serious problem in the Netherlands and Belgium. Therefore, all STOER models have a PIN code immobilizer as standard. Without the correct code, the bike will simply not start. This makes your bike much less attractive to thieves. As an extra, the CargoX also has built-in GPS tracking. If your cargo bike does ever get stolen, you can locate it via the app.

In addition to theft prevention, we pay great attention to road safety. All models have Tektro hydraulic disc brakes with integrated brake lights. When you brake, a brake light automatically comes on. The CargoX goes one step further with turn signals and daytime running lights, similar to a car. This significantly increases your visibility in traffic.

STOER Bikes was founded by brothers Thomas and Joeri in Aalsmeer in 2022. From the beginning the goal was to make bikes that are different from the rest. No standard frames with a new logo, but their own designs from initial sketch to production. That approach paid off. In 2024, the UrbanX was named Best Fatbike of the Year by the AD Bicycle Test with an 8.5. In 2025, the CargoX won the German Design Award in the Excellent Product Design category.

This recognition does not come overnight. The STOER team continuously tests and improves. Customer feedback is taken seriously and incorporated into new versions whenever possible. The result is a collection of bikes that not only look good, but also perform reliably in everyday use.

The UrbanX is the model with which STOER Bikes made its name. This electric fatbike combines fat tires with a powerful Bafang 250W motor that delivers 55Nm of torque. The 720Wh battery gives you a range of 80 to 100 kilometers, depending on your riding style and terrain. The automatic 2-speed shifting system ensures that you are always in the right gear without having to change gears yourself.

What makes the UrbanX special is the combination of comfort and sportiness. The adjustable aluminum frame adjusts to your height. The luxurious leather saddle even offers room for a passenger. With a maximum load of 180 kilograms, the UrbanX is suitable for heavier riders or for rides with extra luggage. The CST 20×4-inch tires provide grip on any surface, from asphalt to dirt roads.

Not everyone is willing or able to step up high. The CityX is specially designed for cyclists who value easy entry and exit. The low frame means you don't have to lift your leg high. This makes the CityX ideal for women, the elderly or people with limited mobility.

Technically, the CityX shares much with the UrbanX. The same Bafang 250W motor, the same 720Wh battery and the same Gates CDX belt drive. The difference is in the frame design and the buddyseat, a handy storage space for your lock or other small items. The range of 80 to 100 kilometers and hydraulic disc brakes make the CityX a reliable choice for everyday urban use.

The CargoX is not just any cargo bike. This model is also called the SUV among cargo bikes, and for good reason. With a payload of 150 kilograms and room for two to four children in the cargo box, the CargoX is built for families and entrepreneurs who have a lot to transport.

The more powerful Bafang motor delivers 92Nm of torque, enough to accelerate smoothly even with a full charge. The 960Wh battery gives a range of 60 to 100 kilometers. The body is made of EPP material, fully recyclable and equipped with sturdy seatbelts. The extra-thick Innova tires keep you from getting stuck in streetcar rails, a common problem with regular cargo bikes. Built-in turn signals and daytime running lights increase your visibility in traffic.
