For business owners, several attractive leasing options are available for our electric fatbikes. This makes investing in CityX or UrbanX more accessible.
"Leasing is becoming increasingly popular with our corporate customers," says Laurens. "Especially for startups that don't want to make a big investment right away. With leasing, you can take advantage of our UrbanX right away without cash flow problems."
Operating lease: Often the most economical because all costs are included in one fixed monthly fee. Depreciation, maintenance, insurance included. Provides budget certainty and full lease cost is deductible as a business expense.
Financial lease: Good option if you want to own fatbike eventually. You pay off monthly amount and become owner after maturity. VAT can be reclaimed directly and bike as an asset on the balance sheet.
Bicycle leasing plans: Increasingly popular are bicycle leasing plans specifically for belt-drive electric fatbikes. These offer all-in packages with maintenance, insurance and roadside assistance. Maintenance costs are lower for our belt drive UrbanX, making this option especially attractive.
Flexible contracts: Many providers have contracts with terms of 24, 36 or 48 months. The longer the term, the lower the monthly payment. Leasing options without a large down payment are available for start-ups.
Note when comparing: Terms around usage and wear and tear. Some contracts have mileage restrictions or specific conditions of use. Also important: what happens in case of theft or damage.
