The STOER outlet consists of electric bikes that are available in an out-of-print color or are making way for an updated model. This has nothing to do with quality, it is purely about assortment changes. The bikes you see here are exactly the same bikes that are normally in the webshop at full price.
The offerings in the outlet rotate. Sometimes there are fatbikes in there, sometimes outgoing colorways of a particular model. What always remains the same: You buy a bike that is fully roadworthy, including all standard equipment. Delivery time is 2 to 3 business days.
A bike in the outlet doesn't end up there because there's something wrong with it. At STOER, there are two reasons why a model ends up here. First, the color runs out of stock. STOER releases new colors on a regular basis. The previous variants then make way; the webshop has to remain orderly.
Second, a model is replaced by a newer model. The successor introduces improvements or an updated design, then the previous generation becomes available at a discount. The technology is still the same, so is the driving experience.

All bikes in the STOER outlet are built on exactly the same technology as the regular models in the webshop. That means a Bafang motor with automatic shifting system, Tektro hydraulic disc brakes and a removable battery with a range of tens of kilometers per charge.
The drive works via a Gates CDX belt drive. No chain, no lube and virtually zero maintenance. The belt also lasts much longer than a traditional chain, saving you a lot of cost and hassle in the long run.
