What is the maximum speed of a STOER Bike?
The STOER E-Bikes have a maximum speed of 25 km/h. The motor, a 250-watt Bafang motor, stops supporting you as soon as you reach this speed. Above 25 km/h, you pedal on your own without motor support.
How many years of warranty is there on the bikes?
A new bike comes with a 2-year warranty on battery, frame, control system, motor and display.
Wear parts such as tires, brakes and accident damage are not covered. Sometimes there are slight differences from one dealer to another. So check where you bought the bike.
Is the optional lock approved for insurance?
The included ABUS lock meets ART-2 approval. Most insurance companies require an ART approved bicycle lock. This means that a bicycle lock must be approved by the ART Foundation. This foundation includes parties such as ANWB, BOVAG, insurers and police. This foundation extensively tests all locks to see if they are resistant to theft. A bicycle lock with ART-2 certification gives certainty about the theft protection of the lock.
Does the outside temperature affect the battery?
The outside temperature affects battery performance. With cold weather, it is recommended to charge the battery in room temperature.
How often does my bicycle need maintenance?
Unlike most fat bikes, STOER bikes require little maintenance due to the use of the carbon belt drive. However, it is advisable to regularly check the tire pressure, have the brakes adjusted and tighten bolts where necessary. This can be done on site by our technicians or at your local bike shop.
What is the maximum weight my bike can carry including passenger?
All STOER bikes have rear suspension that can be adjusted according to weight. The maximum weight for the cyclist including passenger is 180kg.
How far can I ride on the battery of a STOER E-Bike?
The battery of a STOER Bike lasts an average of 60 (cargo bike) to 140 kilometers, depending on riding conditions and support.
