How fast do the STOER e-bikes go?
The STOER bikes have a legal maximum speed of 25 km/h. The motor that provides the power is a 250 watt Bafang rear wheel motor.
How many years of warranty is there on the bikes?
A new bike comes with a 2-year warranty on battery, frame, control system, motor and display. Wear parts such as tyres, brakes and accident damage are not covered. Sometimes there are slight differences per dealer. So check where you bought the bike.
Is the supplied lock approved for insurance?
The supplied ABUS lock complies with ART-2 approval. Most insurers require an ART approved bike lock. This means that a bicycle lock must be approved by Stichting ART.
This Stichting (=foundation) includes organisations such as ANWB, BOVAG, insurers and the police. This foundation extensively tests all locks to see whether they are resistant to theft. A bicycle lock with ART-2 quality mark gives certainty about the lock’s anti-theft protection.
Does the outside temperature affect the battery?
The outside temperature affects battery performance. In cold weather, it is recommended to charge the battery in room temperature.
Will there be new STOER models?
In Q2 of 2023, there will be 3 new STOER models on the market, including an LDS model with low instep and an XL model for people taller than 1.90.

How often does my bike need maintenance?
Unlike most fat bikes, STOER bikes require little maintenance due to the use of the carbon belt drive.
However, it is advisable to regularly check the tyre pressure, have the brakes adjusted and tighten bolts where necessary. This can be done on site by our technicians or at your local bike shop.
What is the maximum weight my bike can carry including passenger?
All STOER bikes have rear suspension that can be adjusted according to weight. The maximum weight for the cyclist including passenger is 180 kg.
